Memorial Day

II Timothy 2:1-4
Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. Thou therefore ENDURE HARDNESS AS A GOOD SOLDIER of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

To all the brave United States of America veterens who have fought and those soldiers that are still in active duty, I heartily say THANK YOU!!!  Your service is not overlooked nor unappreciated.  Please continue to fight and endure hardness as a good soldier!  My family needs you!  America needs YOU!!!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for your service.

To all the families of these wonderful brave Americans, I want to say THANK YOU.  Thank you for enduring with them and enduring for them.  Thank you for your commitment to our great Nation as well.  Your family's sacrifice is greatly appreciated.

Much love and prayers to you all.

A Shield For The Broken

Isaiah 16:2-5
For it shall be, that, as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon.  Take counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; bewray not him that wandereth.  Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler; for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.  And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.

God loves the broken. There is not shame or pain where love is spoken.  God really does love the broken.  Just one touch from the Master's hand can heal, can restore, can make dead things live again.  On His wheel, He's molding and changing the vessels (the souls) that He would like to use for His Kingdom.

If I am guilty of anything, let it be mercy.  We, the bride of Christ, are not to betray the wanderer, but rather, we are to love the outcast; we are to hide them.  Think about it---while light is all around us, maybe right at the peak of our own bright happinesses and blessings, we are to stand, remember, and forsake not those that are down-and-out, backsliden, broken down, and can not seemingly get up.  Life is not about us.  We are to make our shadow so hovering that it totally covers the wandering, wounded souls which would otherwise be picked off by Satan or those that do not have a Christ-like love for others

  "If I'm Guilty"
(sang by Aaron and Amanda Crabb)

It's so easy to criticize when someone else fails
It's so easy to see faults in them when we overlook ourselves
Lord knows I'm not perfect
I don't deserve to throw rocks at anyone
So if there's a mistake you see in me
Let it be this one

If I'm guilty
Let me be guilty of too much mercy
If I'm gonna be wrong
Let me be wrong for treating someone right.
I don't want to push down
What I want to do now is help a brother back on his feet
If I'm guilty, Let me be guilty of too much mercy.

So many moments I'm busy taking
When I should be giving
Too many moments I'm busy talking when I should be listening
I need to make it more about others
Time after time I have found
The simple truth is whatever you give is gonna come back around

Lord, thank you for never forsaking me.  You truly are a faithful God.  When my dreams were shattered and I felt that I'd lost the race, even; thank you for seeing me right where I was and choosing to pick me up and hold me close.  Thank you for covering me.  Thank you for restoring me.  You seen my state and you gave me hope.  You healed me.  You spoke life into me again.  I am in a place where I will never be alone, all because of You.  Thank you so much!!!  Thank you for mercy.  Thank you for love.  May I be a vessel for your Kingdom--a Kingdom Builder--and be everything You want me to be.  May I see to it that someone else is privileged to feel this same love, this same grace, this same mercy.

Governed By God's Providence

Psalm 92:4-5
For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.  O Lord, how great are thy works!  and thy thoughts are very deep.

The Lord is wonderful in counsel and excellent in working! (Is. 28:29)

All my days are continually before Him.  I am governed by His providence.  Great is HIS faithfulness!!!

He Made It A Good Day

Proverbs 21:1

The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will

Psalm 145:9-10

The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.  All thy works shall praise thee, O Lord; and thy saints shall bless thee.

I know my Keeper.  JESUS is His name!  I am rejoicing today that I still have a job.
PRAISE GOD!!!
This weekend could be so different for me, but Jesus chose to see the outcome different. :)

Bothered by the circumstances I faced, God stepped in and He...

'MADE IT A GOOD DAY'

When it looks like your world is closing in
Busted, sick, lonely with no friends
and worried over the circumstances you face
your world is closing in....
everything looks like "there's just no way"
Well, He steps in and makes it a good day!
(that's the song I'm listening to right now...by the Crabb Family)

SO, I'm choosing to keep the faith that He's still working on all my needs and having a great weekend while doing it!
The weather is perfect.  Sunny and beautiful and mild temperature.

My daughter finished driver's ed today.  She's healthy and able to work and make herself a little money.  She loves God. And she makes this home brighter by being in it.

My dog is great company and she's healthy.

I have food in the 'fridge.  Clothes to wash.  A bed to sleep in.

God has blessed me far more than I deserve.
Never should we under-estimate His power & His love...
and best of all...He'll be back to get us one awesome, sweet day!!
:)
