Great is His lovingkindness toward us! I am so thankful for His WORD. It is a light to me, shining brighter toward that perfect day when He shall come and gather His Bride away. Daily I work at being a part of that Bride. I'm so looking forward to that Land of Paradise - Heaven! This earth is not my forever home. I desire to see my Lord face to face and even more so to hear Him say, "Well done." I want to be a faithful servant of His while I sojourn here.
Refrainment takes will-power, prayer, fasting, and reading of God's Word. It's so easy to reach toward those things that the flesh would desire. But, to gain Heaven, to see Jesus, we must refrain from a lot of earthly desires that would ultimately be detrimental to our soul.
I'm so grateful for how He has kept me so far throughout 2014. Looking forward to His preserving power in the remainder.
