Isaiah 40:25-31
To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One. Lift up your eyes on high, and behold, who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth. Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the Lord, and my judgment is passed over from my God? Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall; BUT they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
In a world filled with so much discontentment and strife that even in the day it's really hard to see the light, we MUST LOOK UP! God's got this, folks.
He is not blind
He is not weak
He is not forgetful
He is not unfaithful
He has this whole world in His hand. From atop the vastness of this universe, even though it would seem thru the naked eye that you are smaller than a pin-drop and can not be found...He sees YOU!
YOU...in all your circumstance...your troubles...your joys...your sorrows...your triumphs...your children...the congregation you worship with...your bills...your job....EVERYTHING...every single thing...
He sees it. And what's more...
He understands it.
Not one detail is misunderstood or hidden with Him.
Don't fear the darkness. Be a light. Shine as a star twinkling on a night sky.
Psalm 147:4-5
He counts the number of the stars; He gives names to all of them. Great is our Lord and abundant in strength; His understanding is infinite.
Just as God knows the sum of them, knowing them all by name, He knows the sum of YOU. Each and every one of the stars, He has given a name. And you know what? He has given you a name. You belong to Him. He knows your name. He has not forgotten you. Not one star is missing from His view, and you are not missing either! He is GREAT in power. Wait calmly for His rescue.
He wants to lend you strength for your daily journey. It does not deplete Him in the least. Cast your burden upon Him...He doesn't mind at all. It will not weigh Him down, it will only give you the freedom to run.
So cast your burdens. Run on. Shine on!
Your life may feel as dark as midnight, but take heart...Stars can't shine without the darkness. You may feel like you have messed up so much that there is no hope. Stop it. God has covered you and He calls you His very own. What He calls His is no failure! Stop hating yourself...your life...quit looking at what was, what could have been...and everything you are not....and start looking for the things...loving the things...that you are... focus on all that has been accomplished thru God's faithfulness to you. Wait on the Lord...Be of GOOD COURAGE...and I promise you...you will soar!
