Handling the Difficult

Proverbs 16:20  He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he.

Quote from Charles Swindol "Life is 10 percent of what happens to you and 90 percent how you respond to it."

If you want to "Deal and Move On" from a bad, painful, trying experience in life the first thing is to accept what has happened.  Don't sugar coat the issue.  Be real.

Acceptance is part of the healing process and the faster we come to accepting, the faster, and healthier way to move on.  Don't wait for the feelings to change, take action, and the feelings will change.

Get of the Fair-Train.  Stop that eventual wreck right in its tracks.  Life is often unjust, random, and so beyond our control.  Feelings of outrage will not change it.  Instead, your attitude is everything.  Pick a reaction that lines up with the way you would like your world to be.  You want more happiness, be happy.

Hard things come because they are meant to make you better.  Focus on the lesson that God is trying to teach, rather than the problem itself.  Thinking on this brings all kinds of possibilities and excitement.

Whatever has happened in the past is the old news, it's time to turn the page.  Turn the page to something new and exciting.  Praise God in the hallway while you wait for an open door. Focus on the power of God that can make you stronger and, perhaps, change your situation.

A hurdle does not have to obliterate the Plan.  You CAN continue from a new place.  If God has led you to it He will bring you through it...and you will be the better for it.

Most of all, don't forget those Godly role models in your life, they were put in your life to help you.  Friends are God's way of taking care of us.

Always remember that God has a reason for allowing things to happen.  We may not understand His wisdom, but we have to trust His will.  He died for us...we can trust His heart.

Peace to all today!
