Conquering By Faith~

Galatians 2:20  I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

The life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith….We can have confidence in Jesus, our Redeemer.  He ever liveth and He reigns eternal.  For strength, we look to Him.  For promises, we trust in Him.  For grace, we reach toward Him.  This is how we possess our confidence.  Everything we ever need we find it in Jesus.

Romans 8:35, 37  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?  No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

No higher sense of obligation should be felt than that which is felt toward our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  To live entirely to the Redeemer who loved by the giving of His own blood should be our highest calling.  Paul felt that he was bound to live entirely for His Redeemer, and we should too.  Nothing, but our self, can separate us from God.  So, as long as we hold to HIS unchanging hand, we shall be made more than conquerors.

I like this part:  More than Conquerors  And, this part:  I live by faith

You are not merely someone who defeats, secures, or overcomes!  But, you have a greater advantage than that!  For with God you have an additional degree of force.  With God you can subdue, defeat, gain, secure, overcome, surmount anything.

God gave Himself so that we could have the power to overcome.  We live in faith---we believe that we can overcome---because it’s by the Son of God who loved us and gave Himself for us.

MORE:  A greater or additional amount or degree                                                                                                                                          CONQUEROR: Someone who defeats or subdues by force, especially by force of arms;  Someone who gains or secures control of by or as if by force of arms;  Someone who overcomes or surmounts by physical, mental, or moral force.

“Faith is for that which lies on the other side of reason.  Faith is what makes life bearable, with all its tragedies and ambiguities and sudden, startling joys.”
~Madeleine L’Engle
(I need to keep this in rememberance)
