Having it all doesn’t necessarily mean having it all at once. –Stephanie Luethehaus
Society today would have us believe elsewise, but really, it is not feasible. Life is just simply to busy as it is. The more we ‘pile on our plate’ the more disillusioned, confused, anxious, and frenzied we become. I, for one, do not believe that God designed that our lives be always in a whirlwind. If it were so, How could we ever fulfill His command of “Be still and know that I am God”? If we’re constantly on the run it is nigh to impossible to hear that still, small voice.
But…that doesn’t mean that we do not plan for and attain dreams. God has great things in store for each and every one of us! His thoughts toward us are lofty. The promise for today says, “…the things you planned for us no one can recount…”. Recount means: to give an account for an event; to tell; recite; also means: to count again.
The plans our Heavenly Father has for each and every one of us are too many to count!! All the miracles, plans, and desires He has for us, we can never tell it all. That, my friend, is totally awesome!
To put it in more clearer terms: The Christian-life is not a life of boredom. No, NEVER!
Blessed are those who give themselves over to the living God! Blessed are those who turn their back on the world’s agenda and protocol.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Yes! The dreams that God has planted in the fertile soil of you can be fulfilled. But, allow yourself to step back, breath deep, and realize that you can’t have it all…all at once anyway! :-D God’s timing is perfect. Allow yourself the privilege of His perfection. And, to perfect something it takes time.
