I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word. -Psalm 119:101
Great is His lovingkindness toward us! I am so thankful for His WORD. It is a light to me, shining brighter toward that perfect day when He shall come and gather His Bride away. Daily I work at being a part of that Bride. I'm so looking forward to that Land of Paradise - Heaven! This earth is not my forever home. I desire to see my Lord face to face and even more so to hear Him say, "Well done." I want to be a faithful servant of His while I sojourn here.
Refrainment takes will-power, prayer, fasting, and reading of God's Word. It's so easy to reach toward those things that the flesh would desire. But, to gain Heaven, to see Jesus, we must refrain from a lot of earthly desires that would ultimately be detrimental to our soul.
I'm so grateful for how He has kept me so far throughout 2014. Looking forward to His preserving power in the remainder.
Have a BLESSED Thanksgiving, everyone!

Being Strong In Darkness
Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them: for the Lord your God, He is the one who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.
Sometimes God calls us to "Tight Spots", those things that are uncomfortable and uncertain & dark. But even so, He also calls us to be strong and courageous and in the darkness He is our Light.
If God be for us, who can stand and succeed against us? :)
Sometimes we come to a new day only to find that we have to face a new trial, or the trial is renewed, or sickness has come, or a family member dies unexpectedly; regardless of whatever kind of "tight spot" it is for you, it is REAL and it hurts!
But God is greater still. His love casts out all fear. He will not leave you comfortless.
Don't listen to the nay-sayers, listen to the Peace-Speaker. He knows just how it's all going to turn out. And if He brought you to it, He will bring your through it.
In the meantime, no matter what it feels like, He's got you. And won't let you go.
Trust Him. Keep believing in Him. It just may be that He is giving you this time to do an even greater work in and through you. Allow His name to be glorified in you :) There is purpose to your pain. It will be worth it all one day!
Words to a song that were in my dream in the early morning hours of today: "Lord I don't understand the reason for this pain and sorrow; I don't know how I'll get through all my tomorrows; but I know You carry me, Yes, I know You carry me; Oh, I know You'll care me; Until my days on earth are finally gone".
Happy Sunday!

A Due Season
I can hardly believe we are in the last quarter of the year 2014! With that being said, October has brought with her very refreshing weather, much enjoyed. It truly feels like Autumn this weekend. So grateful for that.
Summer is over, Autumn is here. Let's bring that into another perspective.
Have you been living in a lot of Summer moments of life? Moments when the heat of trial has been so intense you thought you'd perish from the stress and strain of it all. Days so hot...so hard?
I've had days like that.
But God has a refreshing breeze for you. Sometimes it's through the fulfillment of answered prayer. Sometimes it's through His sufficient grace. The mountain doesn't move sometimes, or at least not like you'd move it, but there is that calming assurance that settles deep inside...and you realize..."I can make it over"..."I can make it around this".
Because with God all things are possible.
After the scorching, dry season...the rain does come. The heat lifts. Then the glorious colors appear. The temperature wanes and the winds softly blow. God breezes, I call it. Refreshing moments. Moments so beautiful that you really do feel that you could touch the face of God.
God never leaves us in the heat too long. Just enough. Mostly to change, not our surroundings, but us.
Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Don't give up! Your season is about to change. God IS in control!! You will make it, if you faint not. Keep going. Victory and Glory await. Just hold on!!! God never leaves you nor will He ever forsake you! You're doing well.

Refinement of Praise
Proverbs 27:21 As the fining pot for silver, and the furnace for gold, so is a man to his praise.
How you receive and act upon any praise given to you says a whole lot about who you are. Praise reveals the true character.
Weak character will be filled with pride and arrogance.
A strong character will be filled with meekness.
The person who receives praise in meekness will go on doing good works to the glory of God while the weak in character will be lifted up in their own conceits, boasting in themselves.
Recently I read something that is so true and I will pass it on here:
A seed of pride lies active in the most sanctified soul, and just a little praise can be enough to water it into rapid and extensive growth that will choke fruitfulness and bring judgment.
Some strong characters of the Bible, good examples, are such as Joseph, Daniel, and the Apostles. Anything they did was to the glory of God. They made sure the praise was aimed in the right direction. They made surety of the condition and position of their heart. God was glorified, they did not turn the praise on themselves, in so doing they were not affected by the praise, they just continued to go about the work God had given them to do. God poured blessing into their life because they separated themselves, they lived in humility, and God raised them up.
When I think of weak character I think of Judus, Saul, Goliath...and we know what their lives turned out to be.
So, let us not forget and always remember to consider the blessed Lord Jesus Christ. He who left His throne in glory to become a servant among men. (Phil. 2). He even requested that His glorious miracles not be spread abroad, for He was not the least interested in the praises of people. (Mark 7)
We all have a long way to go to be like the Lord Jesus.

Happy In Salvation
Psalm 70:4 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.
Seeking Him makes for a rewarding life. It brings gladness, rejoicing, salvation, goodness...and so much more.
Truly God is great! and He is to be praised and worshipped greatly.
HAPPY SUNDAY, EVERYONE! :)

A Covenant of Love To The Next Generation
Deuteronomy 7:9 (NIV) Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands.
Within the pages of God's Holy Writ generation after generation can see and feel the Lord's love, guidance, and laws. Words to reach, to teach, and to bless. The God who created everything; names, planets, stars, the hair of our heads, trees, flowers,...all of it, also wanted to communicate with us.
My greatest prayer and hope is "that the next generation may know".
Lord, in this crazy life, yet still, we are so blessed. You are faithful. You are God alone. Please let the JOY of your SPIRIT rise up in my daughter's heart today. May she know the fullness of joy that is only found in Your presence. You are our Heavenly Father. Thank you for being the best Father to the most precious, earthly gift You could've ever given me. I thank you for her. I thank you for the opportunity to be her Momma.
I love you.

Sacrifices of Joy
Psalm 27:5-6 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the Lord.
So many times when in days of adversity it is hard to find our joy. Or, to keep our joy active. I'm not sure how it works for everyone else, but just as I think life is going pretty well, some (forgive me if you must), but some stupid thing happens that pulls me away from the peace and joy that I so desperately seek to dwell.
And it seems the enemy of our souls knows just the thing to trigger the sorrow too!
David found himself being wickedly pursued by Saul many times. David understood what the word "Bullying" meant. He ran for his very life, hiding in caves.
If there is one thing that gets my ire up it is this. I do not understand why people can not leave others well enough alone. Why thy can not enjoy the life that they have been graciously given, and leave others alone. After all, there are so few hours in a day to take care of personal need and responsibility. There really should be no time for as my family calls it, "nib-nosing".
But, adversity, it has been here pretty much since the foundation of human existence. There are plenty of examples in Scripture which teach us that there will be adversity in life. And it comes in many forms.
I'm so thankful for the ROCK of my salvation. Aren't you? He has lifted me up. He has been my Friend. My Comforter. My strong habitation. So many times He has hid me in His secret place. He lifts us up, He does not tear at us. He is wonderful.
For this reason I know that, even in the midst of chaos, un-necessary hurts, and in affliction, I can bring to His tabernacle sacrifices of joy! In times of pain and confusion, I can open my mouth and sing!!
Yes, I will sing praise unto my God. He deserves my highest praise.
Did you know that singing your way through a hard task can give you the strength to get it done?

Hope In The Deliverer
For in Thee, O Lord, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord, my God. -Psalm 38:15
There were several things/situations this week that I totally had to hope in God for. Also, there was something awesome that happened this week of which had been great concern to me for a year now. And, as He is so faithful to do, He delivered! It is good to trust in Jesus.
This past week, my only daughter--only child--went to the beautiful country of Cozumel, Mexico to vacation with her daddy and family, along with another family (who I don't know). She had to get Passport and she flew to another land.
Although I was excited for her to have this opportunity, I was some worried on a whole lot of levels over this too! But I decided that this would be perfect opportunity to put my faith and trust in the One who gave her to me, and so, with the enlistment of a few friends to help me pray, I took the journey of hope and faith this past week. There were a few days I didn't believe I was doing so well, but hopefully I didn't allow it to show TOO much.
She came back happy, tan, and telling me of her adventures...along with the reminder...She will go back at the next opportunity. :) She absolutely LOVED it.
The other thing that has been on my mind for quite some time has been my finance. I lost a job that I had held for nearly 10 years last year and, with the Lord's gracious help, I landed another 3 months after being told of my layoff. God was good. But, with the new job, I took a significant pay cut. The commute was longer too. Meaning more gasoline burning, more dollars spending. The job has great opportunity and potential though, so I felt it was worth it! But, I still had the finance issue.
Well, this week God graciously blessed me. And now I wonder why I ever worried. God is so good!
Then, 2 days later, my daughter was blessed at her job. God is good!
When we give our worries, and I'm so apt to have them, but, when we give them to the Lord, He will take good care to lay them to rest. We can safely dwell in His arms of refuge and find peace that is past our understanding. He is able--and will work as long as we allow Him--to keep our hearts and minds. He is a loving God.
Months or even years may go by without an answer, or at least not the one you hope for, but trust Him anyway. He is listening. And, He WILL deliver! Oh, yes, somehow He will deliver.

Don't Pop Your Top Too Soon
Psalm 121:8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore.
God is our ever-present help. We are especially helped when we observe to follow after Him. He does not forget those that keep His ways, to those who observe to do His commandments.
Today my mind goes to the word: Preserve.
When it comes to food there are many forms of preservation. Food preservation usually involves preventing the growth of bacteria, and also can include processes to help visual deterioration (thinking cut apples, here), which can occur during food preparation. Many processes to preserve food involve a number of methods.
But, when I think of preserving food my mind goes to one particular method called, "Canning". That glass and lid that encapsulate the food that, in time, will nourish the body.
For example, Jam-Making...it involves boiling, to reduce the fruit's moisture content and to kill bacteria, yeasts, etc. It involves Sugaring, this prevents regrowth of bacteria. And then, finally, the Sealing, which prevents recontamination. This also maintains nutritional value.
In Canning, it involves cooking food, sealing it in sterile cans or jars, and boiling the containers to kill or any remaining bacteria. Lack of quality-control in the Canning Process may allow the formation of micro-organisms. Which is, of course, something nobody desires.
On a spiritual level, it is really no different.
When it comes to the preservation of our soul, God also has His method. Our flesh tends to produce the "bad bacteria" while the trials of life and a good, solid relationship with Christ tends to be a huge part the process which is used to prevent the growth or re-growth of said bacteria.
Nobody likes the 'boiling process", but we sure don't mind the "sugaring part". We tend to want to shield our self away from that which brings heat and pain and lean more toward those things that make us happy. The more "sugar on top", the better. But we have to have all the parts for the making of good quality in our life.
God uses all of it to make something of perfection. Then, as we allow our self to be sealed by His Word, we are then made more ready to serve Him for His purpose.
You may have endured much and now feel that you're the forgotten "can" sitting on the back of the shelf of God's pantry, but take heart. He knows exactly where you are! He has not forgotten you. In His own time He will hand-pick you to serve His purpose. Be still in the waiting, don't allow yourself to fall of the shelf and be shattered. Don't pop your top yet. Wait for God's timing before you pour out the contents He has preserved in you. For, just as in preserving, the protecting, of natural things, God too, will protect that which concerns you.
From this time forth and even forevermore.

Handling the Difficult
Proverbs 16:20 He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he.
Quote from Charles Swindol "Life is 10 percent of what happens to you and 90 percent how you respond to it."
If you want to "Deal and Move On" from a bad, painful, trying experience in life the first thing is to accept what has happened. Don't sugar coat the issue. Be real.
Acceptance is part of the healing process and the faster we come to accepting, the faster, and healthier way to move on. Don't wait for the feelings to change, take action, and the feelings will change.
Get of the Fair-Train. Stop that eventual wreck right in its tracks. Life is often unjust, random, and so beyond our control. Feelings of outrage will not change it. Instead, your attitude is everything. Pick a reaction that lines up with the way you would like your world to be. You want more happiness, be happy.
Hard things come because they are meant to make you better. Focus on the lesson that God is trying to teach, rather than the problem itself. Thinking on this brings all kinds of possibilities and excitement.
Whatever has happened in the past is the old news, it's time to turn the page. Turn the page to something new and exciting. Praise God in the hallway while you wait for an open door. Focus on the power of God that can make you stronger and, perhaps, change your situation.
A hurdle does not have to obliterate the Plan. You CAN continue from a new place. If God has led you to it He will bring you through it...and you will be the better for it.
Most of all, don't forget those Godly role models in your life, they were put in your life to help you. Friends are God's way of taking care of us.
Always remember that God has a reason for allowing things to happen. We may not understand His wisdom, but we have to trust His will. He died for us...we can trust His heart.
Peace to all today!

The Rock Of My Strength
Today I sit here with heavy heart, yearning to do more than just pray. Yesterday Heaven gained another angel, yet we lost a friend.
I hurt so bad, physically hurt, for someone I barely knew, yet his family is so very close to my own. Family. A young man by the name of Trenton Wade Bass is now dancing on streets of gold. Only a year older than my own daughter.
She came home from work last night, after working a 10 hour shift, to find that her friend was gone. She had not spoken to him for some time, but yet it did not lessen the pain any at all. She cried herself to sleep. It was early morning hours of today before she wearily close her eyes in rest.
I was a bridesmaid in this young man's parent's wedding. The ties go way back! Way back to even before I was ever thought of. My own father becoming friends with Trent's grandfather in his childhood. Family is without bloodline.
So this morning, without much sleep, but as is the custom, I found myself going back to God's holy writ. I found myself reading these words.
Psalm 62:5-8
My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
If we live long enough we will have trial and heartache. I'm not yet 40, and I have known my share. I know not how many days we all have--or I have--to linger here on this beautiful earth God has so graciously given. I want to make every day count. Every day count for my great, big, glorious, gracious, splendorous God. Truly He is the God of all refuge.
So, Trent, this is not "Good-bye"...you are not really gone, only out of sight for a little while. See you on the other side of Heaven's Gate. In the meantime, would you just look over Heaven's portal every once in a while...to cheer other young people on toward the Kingdom that awaits them? I know you will. :) :)

Worth The Wait
Lamentations 3:24-26 The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore, will I hope in Him. The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.
The struggle between faith and unbelief is often very severe. Whatever your trial, you owe it to the mercies of God that they are not worse.
Afflictions do come, but they serve a divine purpose. They enter into our lives for us to search out the good and to bring into our lives the good. God works all things for the good. Affliction in trial makes us humble and truly makes us even more appreciative of the entrance of good things in our life.
Psalm 26:13-14 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he will strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.
We shall be made happy when we perceive that the afflictions in life only come so that He can work His greater plan in us.
Keep the FAITH and never doubt, He will surely bring you out. Wait for the promises of the Lord. Wait on the Lord.
This world will not last always. Therefore, your life will not last always. As the saying goes, "This too shall pass". So true. Although we know not when, Jesus will soon return, yet He shall return. So live in integrity. Be aware of the deceitfulness of your own heart. Mortify those things that be not like Christ, and exercise repentance and obedience. (these are daily things for me). God knows you better than you know yourself. He knows your down-setting and your up-risings, and what's more, He stands waiting to help you through it all. Be firmly secure in Him even as the ground around you quakes.
God is there to help you. Even better, there is reward awaiting. One day we shall all be changed. No more strife. No more heartache. No more weary mind. Heaven. Soon and very soon, the Bride of Christ is going to rise to meet Him in the air, and we will sing, praise and rejoice forevermore.
I say, "It's worth the wait".

A Simple Prayer Moves God
I Peter 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers.
This past week I believe God has shown me just that too!!! That His ears are open.
Now, I don't know about other mothers out there, but this little momma can be quite the worrier. Especially thinking of her one, little offspring.
My daughter means more to me than anything this side of Heaven. I want her to be healthy, wise, and have just enough of all things she needs in this life. I like it when people are nice to her. I like it when she is polite and respectful. I love to hear her pray. I still kiss her tears away when others or something dealt with isn't so nice.
I am a Mother.
And, I unashamedly say, "I am a Mother who prays".
I believe in God. I believe that His power still reigns over each and everyone of our lives. I believe that He is ready, waiting to hear every petition & praise. I believe He loves me and desire that I be His child. HE wants to be my heavenly Father.
These last few weeks I've been praying about a particular situation that involves my daughter. My faith had dimmed a little, and my anxiety about the situation was trying to escalate. But I kept believing and praying anyway.
Then, seemingly out of nowhere....God showed me a little "hope-nugget". A letter.
Such a simple thing. Yet, through this piece of paper, God let me know that His ear is open and His eyes see all. I serve a great, big, awesome, mighty, eternal GOD! He rules and reigns.
Thank You, Lord, for the precious gift of my child. I know she's almost grown, but I never want to fail to send You praise & thanksgiving for allowing her to be in my world.

Blooms
Ecclesiastes 3:1
To EVERYTHING there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven
"A flower does not think of competing to the flower next to it. It just blooms."
This quote is not original with me. I had to share because it is so true...so needed.
One time I had a friend...or so I thought...who seemed to always compared her life to mine.
She subtly compared. Then it became obvious she was doing so.
Towards the end she picked me apart like a buzzard on road kill.
O the hurt it did cause.
All because she always felt she had to "measure up". She was never content to do the work God gave just for her to do, she was never satisfied with her own talents. She compared hers to mine.
Then she became very critical, resentful, and hurtful.
She second-guessed EVERYTHING I did.
Caused rumors to happen. Gossip to run like wild-fire.
Suffice it to say, It ended what could have been a wonderful friendship.
All because of COMPARISON
Try to enjoy...or at least have joy...in every day of your life.
There are many seasons of life I do not understand, yet I still find myself holding on to hope.
HOPE
It's really all I have.
It's all any of us have.
Relationships have come and gone.
Hurts have come...and gone.
Happiness I have found is superficial.
JOY and HOPE, these two are eternal.
The picture above is a perfect illustration that we should be content in what God has given.
Each of us bear different talents. We all have purpose. It just might not be the same avenue of purpose. Yet, in the end, if we follow God's leading, the ultimate purpose is fulfilled.
To start where we stand.
To bloom where we are planted.
To give what we can give.
To use what we have been given.
To be used for God and bring fulfillment and delight to Him.
This flower bed, pictured above, is a bed built around the need of the butterfly.
The butterfly doesn't care so much about the beauty of the flower as it does the nutrients of it.
So the same is with the Lord.
He doesn't care near as much that you were given the talents, He just wants to know what you're going to do with the talents.
Don't compare yourself to another. Just use what your Lord has provided you.
Division happens otherwise.

A Front-Row Seat To Divine Intervention
Mark 5:36-43,
As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe. And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James. And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly. And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying. And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise. And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment. And he charged them straitly that no man should know it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat.
I find it quite intriguing that only 3 of the 12 went to Jarius' home with Jesus. To me, it seems that Jesus only allowed His closest friends/disciples to enter into the problem with Him. What a thought!!
There was a crowd there, but only the called, only Peter, James & John, and the truly distressed ones--in this case--the parents of the girl, were able to stay and be eye-witnesses of the miracle.
The unbelieving and cynical get nowhere with God.
The crowd had formed at Jarius' home, but they were not witnesses of the divine intervention.
You may go to a church filled to over-flowing or you may go to a church filled only with a few, matters not. But, if you want to see a miracle, a divine intervention, make sure you're one of His closest followers. Make sure your belief and your faith is fully engaged and intact. For it's only these that will get a front-row seat to the miraculous.
Only the willing, only the determined, only the faithful, only the desperate, only the prayerful, only the believers will get to see the up-close miraculous workings of God. And, those that chose to laugh at the impossible becoming possible, those that are happy to keep things the same, those that are filled with unbelief, could not be told anything concerning what happened in the house. If you want to truly be "in the know", then stay close to Jesus.
Lord, I want to stay in the House. I want to seek You and truly know You. I want to be right with You, walking in your foot-steps. I don't want to keep myself from anything that You're wanting to do.

The Spirit Giveth
2 Timothy 1:7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
The Holy Ghost enables us to live life courageously. His Spirit allows for us to have confidence and not be easily frightened.
It gives us the ability to do hard things. It does not make us timid. It enables us to 'DO'. It gives power to come against those encroachments of the mind, body, and spirit that would cause us to believe or think otherwise. His Spirit within whispers "you can do this!". And, when it's all said and done, we find that His power was there with us all along....and yes, we did it!
The Holy Ghost also allows for intense, deep affection for all things God has created. His Spirit causes us to reach for the beautiful, not the superficial beauty, but the real. And in 'being real' we see the true beauty of nature and other human beings. We can be sensitive to the scars and appreciative of the story of courage which they tell.
God's Spirit is so very courageous. It gives strength to those who are weak, causing the weak to say, "I am strong!". It has the ability to pursue what is right despite temptations...and to abandon them when they do come. Because of the Holy Ghost we have control, the ability of self-discipline.
Because of Jesus we can live a life of true abundance. Now go forth and live!! :)

Defer The Divider
Proverbs 19:11 The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression.
Discretion is hard to come by in this world, even the Christian World.
Christians can have their opinions yet also should live in discretion toward their fellow-man. We can do this by:
-Walking in the Spirit
-Putting off anger, malice, envyings & strife
-Living life in Christian Love
-Forsaking the fruits of the flesh and putting on the armor of God.
*The DISCRETION of a man DEFERRETH his ANGER
Anger is such an emotional, and often physical, response. It is brought on by our own psychological interpretation. Anger most often times is brought on by us feeling threatened or violated in some way. Some react to anger through RETALIATION. The external expression of anger is often found in our facial expressions, body language, and at times it is found in public acts of aggression.
The behaviors associated with anger are warning signs. Rarely does a physical altercation occur before the expression of anger is exemplified. The tongue is always the 'un-ruly member'.
This scripture is saying, Christians should possess the quality of behaving or speaking in such a way as to avoid causing a fight or revealing private information. When we do this, we are postponing what could turn out a bad situation for us and everyone else.
* It is his GLORY to PASS OVER a TRANSGRESSION
Instead of allowing that 'un-ruly member', that thing that is kindling for fire, to be untamed within us, it should be our prayer--our glory--to go past, leave behind, that offense made by someone else. It is not our job to keep an eye on transgressions, or to form opinions on someone of which we have no business getting in their business, but it is our job to be prayful and allow God to work out the details.
Prayer builds the Church. Gossip often divides it.

Keeping Focus On The One Who Walks On Problems
Matthew 14:28-33 “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”
DO NOT SURRENDER YOUR FAITH TO THE TYRANNY OF FEAR!!
Peter had the gumption to want to get out of the boat & go meet Jesus on the water, but as soon as the waves started kicking up a bit, he lost focus on what he should have, and looked at the problem around him. Beginning to doubt he was at least smart enough to ask God for deliverance.
Readin this passage, a thought just came to me.
There is no telling what God would have like to do for Peter in this moment. Could it have been that God caused the waves to bolster only because He wanted to raise Peter higher? What kind of view did He want to allow Peter to see??
Problems should not diminish our walk with God, it should draw us closer to Him. Instead of continuing to walk toward Jesus, Peter started looking at the scary situation and didn't continue to keep focus on the One who was already walking on the problem from the beginning.
DO NOT SURRENDER YOUR FAITH TO THE TYRANNY OF FEAR!!!
It just may be that God desires to raise you higher in His kingdom. Problems should be the cause for elevated faith, not eliminating it.
Keep hold on your shield of Faith. It's a life-saver.

A Lesson From My Washer
Psalm 37:1, 7-8 Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.
Rest in the Lord. Hope in Him. Be wise. Be vigilant. For the adversary waits at the door.
It's good to be smart. A smart person knows what to say, but a wise person knows whether or not to say it. When we are tempted in our emotions by evil-doers, instead of "casting our vote" and allowing our emotions to boil over, we must needs instead choose to "Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for him". God always is the Master Fixer & Avenger.
I've been so guilty of this myself....(Sometime even unconsciously) allowing emotions to erupt within me because of the actions of someone else. Sometimes the thoughts in my head just take a trip all on their own and stroll right out my mouth. I have learned that it is ok to have my opinions, to stand my ground on some issues, but never to allow Satan to keep me festered up.
Fret not. Rest in God. Cease from Anger.
These are the things I must remember. These are the things I must choose.
Problems. They come. And they will continue to come. They are like the agitator in a washing machine. They twist things, they move things. They can spin us around, knock us about. There is always a spin cycle in life & there is always a rinse cycle too. When we allow God into the mix...when we Rest in our Saviour and Resist the Tempter...our spirit comes out more clean, brighter, and better than before.
Thankfully in life we do have choice of which cycle we allow our spirit to most remain. The outcome of the problem(s) just depends on whether or not we choose the Resting & the Rinsing more than the Spinning & the Agitation.

Rejecting the Defeatist Attitude
Psalm 98:1-2 O Sing unto the Lord a new song, for he hath done marvelous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory. The Lord hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.
For the past week I've been thinking about the "defeatist mindset".
All to often, because of the problems and situations in life, we live in a feeling of defeat. When problems are at their greatest, we find our self trying to ward of, fight off, reject the attitude of "it will always be this way, why bother to think it could be any different?".
When we have this mindset we are looking at what is around us and not on things above. We are so concentrated on the problems that we fail to take in the full knowledge of Christ and His power in our lives. It is imperative that we "switch our thinking".
God is a VICTORIOUS Savior. He is not, and never was, defeated. If He lives within us, as we say He does, then if we reach for that strength that only He gives, we will not be overcome in battle.
So back to the thought I've been thinking on this week....
My thought on the "defeatist mindset" started after talking with an acquaintance concerning a current issue in her life. The truth is, things in her life are not good right now. Her current "life" is rather heart-breaking and disappointing. It is not good.
And, If we chose to only view what's going on in her life, thru a natural, fleshly looking-glass, it would be very easy to become hateful, resentful, angry, bitter, etc. Instead, I tried my best to encourage her to look up. Looking up is what puts within us the fruit of the Spirit, not the fruit of the flesh.
Looking up doesn't quickly obliterate the current distresses from our lives, but it does give us the faith we need to overcome them and the attitude we need to get through them. Thinking on Jesus and the power in that name will put a smile on your face and peace in your heart. No matter the trial. Try it! I have found it to be true.
Truly God IS an ever-present help in time of trouble. He is the I AM, not the I WAS or I WILL BE. He will make known His salvation. It is our job to trust Him. He's an On-Time God. And, right there (openly) in the face of the heathens in your life, He will give you a new song to sing!
Because of Jesus we can sing in our troubles. We can sing through our troubles. Because of Jesus we do not have to live in defeat. Because of Jesus it is possible that we can live an overcoming life!!!

God Is NOT Dead
Luke 24:6
He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee
Long years ago my Lord made a way for me to be free. He broke the chains of sin and death so that I could truly live! He did this all for us, long before we were ever thought of, long before we entered into this world.
He loved us that much.
God longed to have fellowship with us so he paid the ultimate sacrifice so that we could reign with Him forever.
What devotion. What love. Oh what love the Father has bestowed upon us that we could become His children!
He is a wonderful Savior! Those stripes He bore, the whole scenario of the Cross, I want to live in gratitude of it every day. God is not dead, He is alive! He lives forevermore! He's living on the inside, showing His power on the outside. I am so grateful to have this opportunity to live in servitude of this risen Lord. Not only on this day, but every day that I have.
Happy Easter, Everyone!

Rejoicing In Him Today
Psalm 9:1-2, 14b
I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High....I will rejoice in thy salvation.Thankful for Jesus in my life today! Where would I be without a Savior, a Redeemer. He is my All and all. He satisfies.
Try Him...Live for Him. I know you will be too.
Looking forward to gathering with the voices of the saints in Sunday school today. Can't wait to see what God may do in His House today. His works are marvelous and I know that full well.
Rejoicing in HIS salvation today! I love Him so much.

The View In the Mirror
Psalms 139:14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
Maybe I should just blame it on the fight I had with the pillow last night, because the view staring back at me isn't so wonderful. (LOL)
I stand a'feared & in wonder....Praising Him anyway! :-)

Tough Packages of Compassion
Sometimes Life can be hard. Really tough sometimes. Especially when, by all indication and fruition, others are getting their dreams met and rejoicing in the blessed unexpected good things happening in their life, and you are left with shards...left with the broken pieces to the life they've helped create for you.
Some weeks I do great. This week isn't one of them. But, yet still, I walk in grace. God's grace.
Have you ever wanted deliverance from hard circumstances?
We all have them. Sorrow and hard days hit us all. And pity is so easy to wear...until I read stories of those who are blind...those who live with the scars of accidents...burns...those abused...homeless. When I think of these it is kinda hard for me to feel debilitated by my own set of circumstance. I may be a single mom, but at least I still have all my senses about me. I can hear. I can see. I can smell. I can feel. The "good list" goes on.
Mandisa sings a song "My Deliverer"....a lyric goes like this: my deliverer sets me free from all that's held me captive.
We've all felt captive...pulled down by the weight of our unfulfilled desires. Then we cry out "Abba Father" and we are brought out of the darkness back into the light. Warmed by his loving embrace.
Deliverance. Sometimes it comes as we want it. Other times not. Yet, deliverance comes. One way or another it comes to us all.
Psalm 71:1-3 In You, O Lord, I have taken refuge; Let me never be ashamed. In Your righteousness deliver me and rescue me; Incline Your ear to me and save me. Be to me a rock of habitation to which I may continually come; You have given commandment to save me, For You are my rock and my fortress....
We appeal to God for deliverance because we know of His awesome power and compassion.
Confidently we go to the throne of grace to find refuge in time of need. Another verse in Psalm tells us to call upon Him in trouble and He will deliver, and we will honor him. (psalm 50)
Straight forward promises. We call, He delivers. Easy-peasy, right?! So, why doesn't it work just like that? If this be true, why are we left in the darkness, feeling helpless, longing for a way out? If He cares and has all power to zap the problem out of our existence, why doesn't He?
or does He?
Sometimes the way God keeps His promises is painful for us to endure. But His ways are time-tested, higher than our ways. His thoughts are not like ours.
Perhaps you have endured something so painful that you're weeping right now...or perhaps even passed all the crying and now feeling numb from the weight in which you carry. You wonder why God allowed it to happen. Don't feel alone. You're not alone in those thoughts.
Maybe He is delivering you through it.
Perhaps we need to think of our heartaches and disappointments as blessings in disguise. His compassions really do come in tough packages sometimes. And when we can't understand His methods, we can trust His heart. For He truly does love each and every one of us.
We just have to keep trusting Him.

The Conductor
Originally written May 18, 2011
It is during the difficult days that we must find the wisdom and the courage to trust our Heavenly Father despite the circumstance that even now surround us.
Hebrews 10:23, Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
It is good to trust the Lord. :-) Trust in the good times. Trust in the bad times. Moment by moment, day by day----Trust
It is during the difficult days that we must find the wisdom and the courage to trust our Heavenly Father despite the circumstance that even now surround us.
This scripture reminds me to wait patiently for my God. Thank you, Jesus, for this reminder. :-) Trusting God with everything is important, and that includes timing...we should trust God to decide the best time for things to happen. Sometimes it's hard to trust but it's always the right thing to do.
"When the train goes through a tunnel and the world becomes dark, do you jump out? Of course not. You sit still and trust the engineer to get you through." --Corrie Ten Boom
Waiting patiently for Him pays off. Jesus is driving my train & I'm Heaven-bound :-D ~md

A Mercy Day
First written: May 19, 2011
Isaiah 30:18, And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him
In reading this passage (preceding and the verses afterwards too), it was impressed upon my heart God's timing is Crucial...God's Timing should always win out. ;-)
It's in the resting that we shall be saved. Saved from unintended heartache(s). Strength is in the quietness and confidence. So often times we want our desires "here and right now" and God may be telling us to wait, or we feel that He's not even listening.
In our free-will we attain the desire only to later realize that it really wasn't for our best interest. At least, maybe, for that segment of time.
God is so gracious in these moments to not give us what we deserve. Even if we do "reap what we sow", He shows compassion for us even in the reaping.
Though we be filled with the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, God allows us understanding in the lesson. Who knows but what the anguish days of this life is really His mercies in disguise?, and as the song says, what if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know He's near?
The Lord is a just God--full of judgment--and each day we arise His compassions are new. Great is His faithfulness.
When we allow our self to confidently believe that God loves us and wants the best for us, and quietly listen, then we can hear the voice of God in our ear telling us, "This is the way, turn here. See, I'm working it all out. Walk this way" (Is. 30:21).

Get Your Praise On
Nehemiah 8:10 Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength
Definition of JOY: The passion or emotion excited by the acquisition or expectation of good; that excitement of pleasurable feelings which is caused by success, good fortune, the gratification of desire or some good possessed, or by a rational prospect of possessing what we love or desire; gladness; exultation; exhilaration of spirits.
God’s Law brings JOY! I’m so thankful for the truth of the gospel. Happiness isn’t enough, it is JOY that makes life worth living. It’s JOY that runs deep. JOY is a well. The JOY of the LORD is your strength. Be endued with power from on High. Do not grieve. This is a day that the Lord has made—a present—just for you that He wants you to enjoy. J
If there’s any way at all for you to do so….Prepare something delish (as Rachel Ray would say)…perhaps enjoy a picnic…it doesn’t have to be fancy…get you a big glass of down-home southern sweet iced tea and a sandwich…sit outside with a friend…hey, why not bring the pitcher…I’m sure ya’ll will want some more!
Bask in the JOY that God gives. His love is eternal. He gives good gifts. Allow your heavenly Father to fill you with peace that passes all understanding. Let Him so fill you up that you abound to overflowing JOY! The devil has laughed long enough. It’s time to send him packing, fleeing in fear, with his pitch fork dragging the ground. Our God reigns forevermore! When we allow God to reign…Our God has the FINAL say in EVERYTHING! :-D :-D :-D
There is a song titled, Rivers of Joy. Some of the lyrics put a smile on my face. Lyrics such as… It's time to wake up now 'cause much is still undone / I made up my mind and nothing gets me down / And I won't stop this time until I'm really through / I have to move along to the rivers full of joy
And this one…
You can find joy and happiness / No matter what storm you come across / So hear me when I say you're here to stay / Hold on tight and I'll be right / You can find joy and happiness / No matter what storm / just happiness / You just take a look deep down in the rivers of joyAnd here is another song’s lyric, JOY, by MaryMary…
Oh how I wonder when my soul looks black / how I ever made it through my sinful, wicked past / I did everything that I thought I wanted till it brought me down / then God reached out to me, so I’m here to tell you now / I get joy, joy thinking about / what He’s done for me / I get joy, joy thinking about / what He’s done for me / I’ve seen the bottom of the mountain, I’ve had my share of pain / I’ve been through so many struggles, thought I’d never breathe again / so I prayed that God would help me, I couldn’t handle it anymore / then He lifted every burden and that’s why I get joy, oh yeah / you don’t know like I know what He’s done for me, yeah / you don’t know like I know what He’s done!
And, no, my friend…you may think you know me…but you don’t know like I know what He’s done for this oh girl!! :-D heehee! :-D
So, be encouraged today! Go ‘head on! Get’s some “happy” in your feet. Get some “happy” in your hands. Get some “happy” on your face! Turn that frown upside down, girl. He’s got a work for you to do today. ENJOY!
Now go get ya some food and a big glass of something sweet! J (Food always makes a girl smile!) Love you all ~md

A Heart Comforted
Going through some of my writings again and came across this one that I had emailed to some friends Feb. 13, 2012. Can't remember exactly what I was feeling or going thru at the time, but it was nice to re-read. Hope you feel the same....
********************************************
Colossians 2:2 That their hearts might be comforted , being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
Someone once said, “We all mold another’s dreams. We all hold each other’s fragile hopes in our hands. We all touch other’s hearts.” Well, I don’t know about the certainty of that, but what I am certain about is, “Jesus molds my dreams. Jesus holds my fragile hopes in His great big hands. Jesus is not limited to touching one heart at a time, He touches hearts every second.” I’m so thankful to know the Master who KNOWS it all! I don’t have time to explain it. To be honost I have no desire to find the words to explain it, I just know that my JESUS came this weekend. He touched my heart this weekend. And, I’m grateful.
I want to be knit wholly in HIS love today. I’m so thankful I know who JESUS is!
What a busy weekend this past weekend was! (lol) This morning I rode up to my work space with an elevator-full and this lady riding with us said, “I can’t believe it’s Monday!...weren’t we just on this…like an hour ago, or something?!” LOL This was her version of “WOW! Where did the weekend go?!” She made me laugh. My sentiments exactly!!! J But, hey, isn’t that what living life is all about?! ;-D I’m grateful that God allowed me the privilege…and oh what a privilege it is!...to feel HIS awesome, mighty presence so fully, so totally, so completely this weekend. Saturated in His goodness…this is what I felt like.
Billy Graham once said, “A keen sense of humor helps us to overlook the unbecoming, understand the unconventional, tolerate the unpleasant, overcome the unexpected, and outlast the unbearable.”
The LOVE of GOD working in a life makes this happen too! I woke up this morning with the song “Can’t Stop Praising”. Can’t stop praising His name, I just can’t stop praising His name…BLESS HIS HOLY NAME…Cant’ stop praising His name…JESUS, JESUS! I won’t turn back, No I won’t turn back, I won’t turn back now! I’m so grateful to know the One who comforts, knits me together, and shows all riches of understanding. I want to show HIM the same! I want to be so in tune with the Master-Of-It-All that I don’t have to wake up each morning at the start-box again. I want my relationship with Him to be so effective that it truly takes affect. A true relationship with God brings about a change resulting in that life making a difference in the life of someone else. I want my life to show forth the LOVE and the POWER of God. I don’t want lip-service, I want action-service; heart-service. Out of the mouth the heart speaketh. What am I revealing to others about my heart-condition? Am I comforting through words and deeds? Through my actions am I showing forth the praises of God? By my lips am I comforting (affecting positively) a bruised soul? Or, Am I more in tune with myself and what I think, than what God thinks?
Lord, help me!! Help me that I may have a positive affect on this bruised, crushed-in-spirit world around me. Help me to LOVE as YOU love! I want to be knit together with the body of Christ. I want to have a full understanding of what you are all about, and who you are!
Ya’ll have a great day today.
Love to all ~md

Knitted Hearts
I Chronicles 12:17
"...If ye be come peaceably unto me to help me, my heart shall be knit unto you: but if ye come to betray me to mine enemies, seeing there is no wrong in mine hands, the God of our fathers look thereon, and rebuke it."
Ever gotten to the point where you started to question people's motives for seeking you out?
If not, I'm sure at some point in your life you will.
Has there ever been a time in your life when you felt betrayal? It's not a sweet walk in the park, is it? No, I didn't think so.
Perhaps I should say, I know so.
But, try not to lump everyone in the same pot, ok? There really are some peaceable, kind, Godly, loving people in this world. yes, even in your world. They are there, right in the very life you live every single day.
Life does happen. People fail themselves and each other. Life can hurt sometimes. But, try to keep your emotions in check...keep positive. Remember that a Life, if fully lived, is a constant check and balance. And those that betray keep us in awe and wonder of those who don't.
Keep the faith. God works all situations for your perfecting. The good and the bad...it's all for you :) I promise, He really does work all things for good. And it's not my promise that counts, it's His. He said He would never leave you nor forsake you and His Word says that He works all things for good to those that love Him. So, KEEP THE FAITH.

Does He Call You "Daughter"?
I've been trying to clean up my emails lately and this morning I came across this scripture promise and the thoughts written on January 25, 2011. Hope it brings some encouragement to someone today! :)
*****************************************************
Luke 8:48, And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath
made thee whole; go in peace.
The lady pressed her way and touched Jesus. Reminds me of the saying, “if you
take one step He’ll take two”. In fact, these words are in a song.
Anyway….yes, our God will do what no man can do. He’s a healer, a
mind-regulator, a peace-speaker, a heart-mender and so much more. He’s the
Alpha and Omega and He’s everything inbetween also!
Faith moves the Master. Faith causes things to happen. Faith moves the
proverbial mountains in our life. Faith will cause us to perservere inspite of
the pain. Faith calls us--Conquerors. If I’m not mistaken, I think this is the
only place in scripture where Jesus specifically called a woman/girl, Daughter.
Which is yet another example of how faith pleases Him.
Further in this chapter there is the story of the ruler of the synaguoge. There
were a lot of people around that did not have faith. In fact, they laughed
Jesus to scorn for saying the girl was asleep. But, the father of the child had
faith enough to call out to the Master for help, believing in the possibility
that something could be done---and it was done! It says, the mother and the
father were astonished and Jesus admonished them that they tell no one what had
been done.
Now, I don’t rightly understand the reasoning behind why He would say that, but
that’s what He said. Maybe it was because there was so much unbelief outside
the house that if those outside the house found out what was done inside the
house, there might have been a riot. (???) Maybe Jesus was trying to protect those
that were inside the house?? Six people were all the number that got to see
the miracle while the throngs of people couldn’t even hear about it. WOW!
I want to have enough faith to touch Him, even if I feel unworthy to do so, and
I want to be found a believer so that I can be in the house when God performs
the miracle! I want to be right smack-dab in the middle…having a front row
view…to see the changes God brings.
In Faith bring your fragments, Faith brings completeness. In God’s time it will be
complete.

High Thoughts
Isaiah 55:8
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.
Life may not turn out according as planned,
That's because our thinking is the way of man.
Our ways and thoughts are not comparable to God's.
Trust Him to see you through.
For He knows it all.
He sees every sparrow.
The ones that fly.
And the ones that fall.
He knows it all.
Every trial we face has passed His inspection first.
He care and He knows what's best.
When you can't handle it anymore He has ears that are ready to listen.
He has our hearts on His mind at all times.
He knows it all.
With tender loving care He made us.
He knows every detail about us.
He knows it all.
Look to the One,
Your only Redeemer.
He holds you
And the whole world
In His hands.
He knows it all.
He will not ever leave you to withstand anything alone.
You're His child. He cares for His own.
And He knows it all.
Fight with faith
Take on the helmet of salvation
Keep the sword in your hand.
And with His help you will pass every test and trial.
Always remember: God knows best!
He knows it all.

Faint Not :)
Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
-Ephesians 3:13
Just a scripture I read today that's making me ponder a bit :)
If you don't think your trial holds purpose, think again.
Don't ever, ever give up!
Keep the faith.
Others are watching
: )
Today is my 37th birthday.
In the midst of all my life
I have found HIM faithful.
He's worth living for.
He carries me through every situation that I don't know what to do with
And somehow I come out of it OK.
God is a present help.
He is faithful!!
And He will never change.

I Will Fear No Evil ~
Psalm 23:4 (NKJV) "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.."
There are many facets to a Valley. There is the boss coming to your desk letting you know you have to be let go, plummeting you into unemployment, which has the quick potential to push you straight into financial woes. Or your valley could be trying to walk through the aftermath of the death of a friend or family member. Or, it even could be losing your spouse through the heart-break of an affair. Or, the betrayal of what you thought was a trusted friend.
The list could go on and on, but whatever your valley, when life is so darkened, your way seemingly impassable by fear, God is always near. Remember God. He is the Good Shepherd and He is always near. No matter what you feel, He is near.
Dreams that have slowly died or Hopes that have been cruely crushed, God is our ever-present help. He is the refuge to run to.
We must walk through our valleys with faith. Faith is the only way to get through the hard stuff. Faith is our shield, protecting us from fatal, often spiritual-death.
If you are discouraged...afraid...and desperately trying to keep one foot going in front of the other, desperately trying to simply breathe in and breathe out, facing each day...feeling like there is absolutely no one to trust anymore...Trust in the One who can take care of it all. He KNOWS, and He never fails. God knows it all. What's more, He understands. He understands your wounded spirit. He sees you. He believes in you. And He is willing to carry you when your legs just give out and can't move anymore.
One way or another you will get through this valley. You will get THROUGH it with God by your side. And, like a loving parent, He is applauding you all the way. He sings over you (Zeph 3:17). He prays for you (John 17:9). He loves you (Romans 8:37-39).
Evil is always lurking, Fear is real, but God is greater. Step out in faith. Have a blessed evening and wonderful Tuesday!

Love Shot to the Heart
So, it's Valentine's Day. And, there are a lot of lonely souls in the world. Sad, but true. Loneliness is no respector of persons. Just ask every elderly person who has no one to come see them, or ask a foster-system child, or if we had the chance, ask an aborted babe. Yes, Valentine's Day is supposed to be a happy day but all too often it is not. And sadness on this day does not just happen for the females. Many men suffer too.
When one feels lonely and broken-hearted it sure helps to lift the pain when giving the effort of "reaching-out" instead of "reaching-in". What a wonderful thing it would be if we all could touch just one person's life today. I certainly hope I have touched a few today. (and I think I did)
Today I read a love note. I so love the Word of God. It's GOD's love-notes straight to every heart.
Feeling a bit frumpy, ugly, judged, and sad this week I unexpectedly came across this scripture. It brought so much joy to my heart that I thought I'd save it for "Cupid's Day" so I could share with all of you, my readers on this blog.
I've come to encourage you today and to remind you that God love never fails. God {heart} you. God loves you, my friend! It doesn't matter what negetive thing someone else says or does to you...God is LOVE. The devil whispers lies and discouragement and is full of deceit, but GOD whispers Peace. He sings over us. His banner over us is LOVE. His love is unconditional. When we are wrong, when we do wrong, we reap consequences from our Lord, but never condemnation. Condemnation is the devil's work.
